High level EGU championships!
Young John Deere (Fire Whiz-Good As Gold) at Otalampi straight.
EGU Championships 2002 was held at Otalampi training straight last thursday. There were over 30 greyhounds and the race was very tough. From our own dogs the most expectations was carried by last year winner, Rittenhouse. Ritsa was good. Despite bad start he made 4. fastest time, 9.47. Another big interest was young bitch from Icetrick-The Other Taylor litter, Trick's Tot. This was her first slip against the clock. Keppana was also good. Time 9.90 was 2nd fastest in the "puppyrace". Only her litterbrother Icesurrender, Pipo was faster with 9.77. Spiceice made 10.10. Icetrick was 6th, 9.65, Maker's Mark 8th with 9.69 and Cypress Night 11th, 9.73. The winner was Daddy's Flash, 9.26, 2nd Volare 9.30 and 3rd Yellowstone 9.33.
