Many
kind of news Icetrick
took his first win this season at Tampere yesterday with best
of the day 16.78/280m. Our double win was near when Maker´s
Mark lost only 1 spot to Dundee after very fine battle in his
race.
After
races Totalice (Icetrick-The
Other Taylor) ran his sololisence.
No
luck with Joyful Hawk in The
Laurels final last thursday. She missed the break and got bumped
at the first corner. In the group-1 final you can't afford
that. Anyway she was in the highest level final in Australia and
we are very happy with that. Old toe injury had to be stitched
after race, so JoJo will rest couple of weeks and after that we'll
try little longer distance. Maybe 600 metres at Meadows. Whata
Whiz (Fire Whiz-Continuty)
won the Jack Hill Bookmaker final at Wangaratta with very
fast time 26.87/474m, it means 27.20/480m! Whata Whiz has now 6
wins from 13 starts. Racing
history was made in Australia last week sunday when there were galloping,
harness and greyhound racing at Cranbourne in the same day.
The races was advertised as a great family day out. Lots of
activities were provided free for kids (jumping castle, games,
animal farm and so on). Maybe we should try this sort of happening
at Turku track? Jones
