Could
be better
We
have been quite busy at races. The best news is the first winner from
the Icetrick-The Other Taylor
litter. The winner is Taylor's Trick, who won at Turku track with
style by 5 lenghts.
Finnish
Championships were up and down with our own dogs. Rittenhouse
was unlucky in his heat when Mr Moose, forthcoming winner, was outside
him. Mr Moose is not a wider and he tried very hard to get inside and
spoiled Ritsa's race.
Maker's
Mark was very good in his heat finishing 2nd and he was near to
reach the final. In his semifinal he collided with Hold On at the last
bend and was 3rd. It was a horrible surprise when he was disqualified
for fighting. Much harder bumpings and contacts is seen in every race.
There should be some kind of policy in these judgements.
Cypress
Night won her heat easily, but then she was 5th in her semifinal.
That was the most high level semifinal and she missed the B-final only
1/100 and A-final with 5/100 seconds. The semifinal was won by
Quicksilver.
In
the Veteran Championships final Beyond The
Stars showed who's the fastest "oldie" in Finland.
Wins from the heat and in the final made almost sure that he will be the
Veteran Of The Year. Winning time, 19.25 in the final was only 7/100
seconds slower than Yellowstonen's
best of the day.
